Face ID attendance: employees show their face, the timesheet fills itself
HR-ONE connects a Hikvision face recognition terminal at the entrance to a cloud HR system. Employees clock in and out with no card, PIN or fingerprint — just their face. The system calculates lateness, early departures and hours worked, so the timesheet is ready when the month ends.
From the door to the timesheet in four steps
The employee shows their face
The terminal recognises a face from up to half a metre in about a second. It checks for a live face: a printed photo or a phone screen is rejected. It also recognises employees wearing a mask.
The scan reaches the server on its own
The terminal connects to the cloud by itself — no office server, static IP or VPN. If the internet drops, scans are kept in the terminal’s memory (up to 150,000 records) and sent once the connection is back.
The working day is calculated
The system takes the first and last scan of the day, deducts lunch and compares lateness and early departures with the branch schedule. Public holidays and moved working days come from the work calendar.
Timesheet and payroll are ready
At the end of the month nobody compiles the timesheet — it is already there. Any figure can be opened to show the day and hour of the scan.
Paper timesheet, card or face — what is the difference
| Criterion | Paper timesheet | Card / key fob | Face ID terminal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who records | HR or a manager, by hand | The employee taps a card | The terminal recognises the face |
| Clocking in for someone else | Impossible to check | A card can be handed to a colleague | A face cannot be handed over; photos are rejected |
| Lost or forgotten items | — | Cards get lost or left at home | Nothing to carry |
| Month-end disputes | You have to trust the entry | There is a scan, but not who tapped the card | Every scan has a time and terminal; corrections are logged |
What goes on the door
No office server and no always-on computer — just the terminal, a power socket and internet.

A face is personal data. It does not leave the country
Under law O‘RQ-547, data tied to biometrics must be stored on servers in Uzbekistan. With HR-ONE the database, files and encrypted backups are all kept there.
When an employee leaves, they are deactivated in the panel and their face is removed from the terminal. If that has not happened, the panel shows a red warning.
Every correction to attendance — who, when and why — is written to a log that cannot be deleted.
